Jarrell was founded in 2013 by web development veteran Mike Jarrell, whose father ran his own eponymous software venture for more than 25 years. Jarrell was reborn when Mike borrowed the name as an homage to his late father. The firm maintains the same values it has for over two decades – marrying efficient function and seamless form to meet the needs of a variety of organizations.

First offering website development and optimization, we now focus on developing a multitude of software solutions of any scale. From optimizing eCommerce sales and designing better mobile experiences to implementing ERP software and developing software solutions, we specialize in bringing your ideas to life.

Meet the Leadership

Mike Jarrell
Founder, CEO
Mike founded Jarrell in November of 2013 as an homage to his late father. He has 14 years of web development experience that spans industries such as healthcare, sports marketing, eCommerce and Software as a Service. Mike brings his talents as a technologist to the Jarrell team where he leads development operations, project estimation and capacity management. Mike works hard to foster a collaborative work environment for both his team and clients which leads to faster and more accurate delivery times while maintaining a service-oriented focus. Mike lives in Atlanta with his wife and son.
Will Palmer
Director of Project Services
Will Palmer has over 8 years of software development experience across a variety of industries: manufacturing, eCommerce, fundraising and IT services. Having worn many different hats on project teams, Will now works as the Director of Project Services for Team Jarrell, where he focuses on delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Will lives in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife, Rebecca, his two sons, Owen and Wyatt, and two dogs, Dolly and Josie.

Fun Facts:
  • Likes to grow orchids—Dendrobiums being his favorite
  • Cooking breakfast is his specialty, and he dreams of one day owning and operating a breakfast food truck
  • Can rock out on the guitar to Yankee Doodle

Brandon Gelatka
VP of Sales
Brandon Gelatka has been in the tech industry for 10+ years in roles including consulting, business development, strategic alliances, direct sales and operations. He offers a range of expertise in technology spanning SaaS, Mobile Apps, Information Security and IT hardware. His passion lies in helping educate on the advantages of embracing new technologies. He holds his BBA in Marketing from Augusta University. Brandon currently lives in Buckhead near Chastain Park.

Fun Facts:
  • He has lived in numerous cities including Chicago, Atlanta, Tampa and Seattle
  • He has never seen or read Game of Thrones
  • His favorite actors include the late John Candy and Chris Farley

Kevin Ralph
Lead Developer
Kevin Ralph works as lead developer on a wide variety of projects. Kevin specializes in creative problem solving, resolving business issues with technology solutions. Kevin doesn’t just write the code, he works with clients to understand the problem and plays a part in developing the requirements. His background consists of creating specialized web apps and building large eCommerce sites. Kevin lives in a small neighborhood in Atlanta with his wife, Rae Lynn and two dogs.

Fun Facts:
  • Mother is also a programmer
  • Can bend both of his thumbs backwards to a complete right angle. It’s what is known as a hitch hikers thumb.
  • Has never seen Harry Potter or read the books

Becky Aguiar
Director of Account Management
Becky has more than 12 years of account service and brand management experience in various industries. Becky joined the Jarrell team in June 2016 as the Director of Account Management and also manages company-wide marketing efforts with the goal of making Jarrell a household name. Her first priority is to make sure clients enjoy their experience with Jarrell. Becky lives in East Atlanta with her husband Mike, their son Silas, and their two dogs, Sullivan and Eleanor.

Fun Facts:
  • Loves grapes but hates anything grape flavored
  • Has an unnatural obsession with lying in bed. If she could manage her entire day while being horizontal she totally would.
  • Almost failed a ceramics class in college
