Jarrell Supports Atlanta Shark Tank Summer Camp for Young Entrepreneurs
Based in Atlanta, Break Into Business is a positive platform that inspires and trains young entrepreneurs. Their Summer Youth Entrepreneurship Camp develops entrepreneurs in a “Shark Tank” style program. The teams create a product and brand for their business and ultimately pitch to the panel for investment opportunities.
“Our mission at Break Into Business is to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. This summer over 250 students age 9-17 will participate in our week-long programs, with a focus on pushing them toward launching their own real business. A highlight of the week is receiving feedback (and sometimes even seed funds!) from local entrepreneurs and business leaders – they take it very seriously!” Monica Lage, Executive Director, Break Into Business
Last Wednesday the kids pitched their ideas to the panel, seeking investments, which created opportunities for them to learn how to launch their very own businesses and brands.
Brandon Gelatka, VP of Sales for Jarrell, had the opportunity to serve as a shark on the panel for the entrepreneurship camp last week. He volunteered to support this great cause that invests in youth and was highly impressed with these kids! It was a great opportunity to give feedback to these budding entrepreneurs and invest in their small business.
On Thursday, the campers were able to sell their products – sugar snacks, Crazy Cakes, soaps and baked goods in the Atrium at WeWork Colony Square Coworking space in Midtown, Atlanta.
